Post Behavior at parties, something new?

I went to my undergrad chapter's party last night. Even though I've been a Delta for almost 4 years, it seems that there are changes going on when I speak with undergrad members. A couple of things happened and I was wondering if anyone has experienced it.

#1) Some graduate members of a particular organization had came to the party and they started doing party struts familiar to them. Well, members of a visiting chapter began doing a strut of their own, so there are two XYZ strut lines. Some of the current members were upset and felt that the visiting chapter "disrespected" them in a way, by doing their own struts. What do you think?

#2) Some of the songs played contain explicit lyrics. The "oldheads" continued to strut as usual, but the younger members said they didn't want to because of the words. This wasn't an issue when I crossed in 1997, so I was wondering if is this something new?
