I'm not a teacher, but I turned my resignation in last week. I have nine more days!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm done June 15. Booooo! Boooo! Final exams are on June 4 and 5. The kids won't be back after that except to pick up their report cards, so it's all good. I can't wait 'til then. The sad part is, before the summer is over I'm going to be dying to get back to work. Sad, huh!?!

I read in a new teacher's book when I started that the WORST thing you can do to your emotional health is teach summer school. So even though we still get paid in the summer
if you want extra money, alot of people advise another form of work. I'm working at a student loan place. (A sistah will be on track after this summer!) Besides, my momma told me if I worked summer school SHE was gonna slit HER wrists cause she gets tired of hearing me complain!

TOTALLY RIGHT!!! I did it last summer and this school year I was a little ess tolerant earlier than usual.

I have a job lead where I will be grading standardized tests for the summer.
