The True Gentlemen

i know on our campus its a little bit of tension especially between our pledges, but when did KA and SAE both adopt The True Gentlemen as their motto? i believe we adopted ours in 1918 when a article in a newspaper was found listing what a true gentlemen was which our fraternity adopted, just interested if any KA's could help me out
