I received the following email today, supposedly from ebay-- and I am SURE it is not from ebay for 3 reasons, which I will state below the copy of the email---

3 things made me thing it was not an actual ebay email--
1. I don't use the account it was sent to for my ebay transactions. I changed my ebay email address several months ago.
2. thte page it takes you to, when you enter your password, the word is displayed, whereas, on actual eby interfaces, its represented by ********* when entered.
3. I was able to bid on items without going thru the verification process.
SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL and do not answer this email, as it asks for all your account verification/bank account/credit card info and IS NOT AN ACTUAL EBAY request.
