Yeah, I wasn't name dropping.....I was being serious. He's a damn good guy. We see Jenna and her sister in Austin quite often......its really not that big of a deal down here at all, especially around the fraterity/sorority scene.....so for those of you who thought I was trying to be "big and bad".....I wasn't.

obviously reading is not fundamental at some universities.

I'm not mad......
This is what you responded to me with:

if you get into a law school without a bachelor's degree, then let me know so i can sign on the dotted line. it's not about learning, it's about minimum requirements.

I never said anything about him getting in/not getting in because of requirements. I responded to a post questioning his ability to be able to do the work and cope with being at a top rate business school....from which I stated that experience can help quite a bit, I believe Shiner said something similar. I realize you never commented on ability........I never said you did. If anyone needs to re-read a post...its you.
If you want to respond to me, save your petty bullshit insults for someone who cares. Surely you can come up with something better than "obviously reading is not fundamental at some universities." I know you have convinced yourself that you are the most intellectually superior person on Greekchat.....but it is astounding to me how lame you can get when you are actually trying to be a dick.

just because i said you didn't read my post? apparently you're not getting mad because you're dredging up stuff that has nothing to do with the conversation, LOL. i didn't even talk about anything like that, but you're already post about it. gee, you're a sensitive one.
now back to the actual subject, the point of this thread has nothing to do with him being able to do the work and everything with him bypassing minimum requirements. if i read enough books on medicine and work in a hospital, by golly i should be allowed into med school. screw a bachelor's.

I'm sorry, I know it has NOTHING to do with this thread (ok, maybe just a little) but I found this very amusing and wanted to share.
If you go on wikipedia and look under "Neil Bush" you'll find this:
Bush and his former wife, Sharon Smith, were married for 23 years. They divorced in April 2003, amid a dispute with Maria and Robert Andrews. Robert Andrews sued Sharon in September 2003 for defamation after Sharon alleged that Neil was the father of the Andrews' two-year-old son. Bush's divorce deposition gained public attention when he admitted to several sexual encounters with women in Thailand and Hong Kong.
Neil and Sharon are the parents of three children; Lauren (a model), Pierce, and Ashley. The divorce proceedings gained public attention. Among the incidents aired in the press, Neil Bush's friend John Spalding announced that Sharon had extracted hair samples from her estranged husband in order to place a voodoo curse on him. Sharon Bush later confirmed the forcible hair removal, but she stated that she took the hair to be tested for evidence of drug use. At various times Sharon Bush publicly spoke of her fear of retribution by Neil Bush and the Bush Family. At other times she praised Barbara and George Bush's understanding. One of these conversations with author Kitty Kelley was witnessed by a third party.
Bush remarried in Houston, Texas on March 6, 2004 to Maria Andrews. Andrews spent time volunteering with charitable organizations with Neil's mother, Barbara Bush.

Hey, starang21, I understand the point about bypassing requirements......thanks. What is the matter with you? Trying to explain something to you makes we want to kick small children. THERE WAS A SMALL DISCUSSION A FEW PAGES BACK.......about how he may fare well at Harvard because of his experience and the people that he has been around. I know its hard for you to handle, but some of us deviated from the "requirements" topic for just a short while. I'm really sorry about that. That is what I commented on, as well as Shinerbock and a couple others.
You should know by now that I generally don't respond to anything you say. I never made it a point to comment on your incessant barage of posts concerning requirements. I understand that not graduating probobly looks fishy. I don't really care though. If he does well, good for him.

I cracked up at this. It's bad enough for there to be a Neil and Pierce Bush. Sounds like a set of twins with bad porno names.

As an aside, I want to kick starang in the throat for the thread title "Bush's Sandwich maker to Harvard."

LOL, ******* huh? geez, are you crying now, to? is this an example of you not responding to me? that's the like the 5th reference about kicking small children. hard time handling your emotions?
he very well might be a genius and be able to hack the work and have the minimum academic knowledge to get somewhere. though i think that's probably not the case because the kid dropped out his freshman year. fishy is the understatement of the year regarding his admission.

Yes, I am crying and have no control over my emotions. I am sitting at my computer with a bottle of Xanax and a double scotch neat.
Well, I don't know the guy, so i'm not going to make any assumptions on his academic ability and if he can hack it or not. To me, him not having an undergrad degree is about the same as going to a graduate program after majoring in something completely unrelated to what you are planning on studying.

Most graduate programs expect for you to make up for your unrelated field degree by taking prerequisites and/or having had years of experience in a (directly) related field. Directly, meaning, not working at a nail salon and claiming to have acquired field related experiences by overhearing judges' and attorneys' work-related conversations.
