Are you close to your Big/Lil? - Page 7

My big sucked. He was a good guy, but sucked as a big brother. He was "too busy". Never let me know anything (there's more but I can't get into it now). So, a couple of other guys sort of adopted me as a little because he was so bad. If I messed up they talked to me about it, if my grades were slipping they helped me get my stuff straight. They helped me a ton.

I was close to my little though, mostly because of my big. I made sure he wasn't messing up and if he was, fixed it. We still talk and always have fun together. We can definitely get ignorant with the best of em.

Unfortunately, when I pledged my big was graduating at the end of the semester, and so we weren't all that close. She was really sweet, but she lived in the house and was getting ready to graduate, and so I didn't hang out with her outside of mandatory house events. The next semester, I was so happy when one of my closest friends (and older sister) adopted me into the largest family in the house.

On the other hand, my lil and I have the best relationship. After I preffed her, I knew that she was awesome and could possibly be my lil. We ALWAYS hung out, and I'm going to miss her terribly since I just graduated.

I think the Big/lil sis relationship is important!!! im really close to my big sis and to shes like my best friend! It totally helps when your big sis is helpin you through the pledge process etc.

The only thing is, if you're close with your big and you take on a lil...its a hard balance. I totally spoiled my lil but unfortunately Im not as close to my lil as i hoped. We totally have fun together and shes completely awesome and smart!!! i luv my family!!! ROyal family~~~!

sorry to post to this so late. my big and i arent as close as i'd like but we are still friends. She picked me up when she was a senior, so she was pretty much done with the chapter and college. luckily my big had also picked up the year before me and me and my twin are best friends. I love my Greek family as well as the other various sisters we've picked up to be part of our family

I am extremely close to my Big Brother! I wasn't 100% sure when I picked him as a Big (but how can you be after only 8-10 weeks?!), but I am incredibly glad that I did. I love spending time with my Big.

I'm also very close with my twin and triplet (my Big Bro's other two Littles). We have a funny relationship. We're a big dysfunctional family, though.

I'm not as close with my Little Brother, sadly. I did spoil him when I received him, but he transferred to another school after his first semester, so we don't keep in contact as much. I do love spending time with him, though, when he visits and I'm also a little honored that he calls me his older brother instead of his big brother.

When it comes to unofficial relationships, I'm super close to my Big Sister, her Little Sister, and her 3 other Little Brothers (I lived with one for a year and we're all SigEps).

My Big and I were really close; she was a bridesmaid in my wedding...then she moved to work at Nationals and I guess she "outgrew" me. :-/

Heh. I haven't even seen my big in close to a year, and even before that we weren't especially close. I think I screwed up picking him, but it happens.

My big and I used to be close, but one night me and the rest of our family trashed his room as a prank and he got really mad at me for it. I think hes planing revenge, and he won't be himself again until he gets it.

My big and I were a lot closer during college, especially the year when we both lived in the house. We were always doing something together, she came to all of my dance recitals, and set me up with my fiance. But we haven't been as close since graduation. We e-mail and talk on the phone every now and then, but she was my biggest fan in college and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else as my big.
My little and I weren't as close. We both know we weren't each others first choices, but I still spoiled her like crazy during her new member process. We did become friends, and I am glad that I took her as a little. She is an amazing women and I'm proud to call her my sister. Again, we aren't as close since she graduated and moved back home.
But I will see them in a few weeks at my wedding in a couple weeks!

My big and I are sort of close. She was terminated from being a member this past fall, and because of that we have grown apart some, but she's still my big and I still love her no matter what. I don't have a little yet, but I REALLY hope to get one soon because being the only person in your family line sucks haha. I'm crossing my fingers Panhellenic will raise total and we'll take a fall class.

My original big and I have an interesting relationship. We were super close my first semester, but as the year went on, I figured out that she had very little depth. She didn't listen to others, and judged a lot of people. I grew up a lot, and she stayed the same. She graduated last fall, and we haven't really talked since.

I was "unofficially" adopted by two girls after she graduated. I've always been close with these two girls- one was my roommate last year, and the other I've just known really well since I was a freshman. My roommate also adopted my twin, so I was still related to her! One big just graduated, and the other graduates next fall- but I hope we'll all stay close.

I love my twin dearly, and we're fairly close. I watch out for her, and make sure she's okay (she has a medical condition that strikes randomly). All the rest of the girls who have watched out for her have graduated, and it's my turn now. We're living together next year, and I can't wait.

I have two littles- I took them at the same time (talk about a stressful week!). I'm very close with one of them, and we consider each other close friends. I love my other little, but we're not as close- we don't have as many common interests, and our schedules never seem to match up.

I never see my big. We were never really that close. She is a great girl and was a great big sis, but we never really bonded.
My little is one of my best friends! In fact, she introduced me to my husband!

I haven't talk to my Big in a while until I reconnected with him thru Facebook. I did hear from him last month but He remains busy with his job. ON the other hand, I and my little are always in constant communication with each other.
