We welcomed 6 new women into our sisterhood at Theta Mu!! Stephanie, Ashley, Ineke, Sara, Eveyln, and Anne are our newest members and I think it is safe to say they are just as excited as we are to be a part of our sisterhood! Woo Hoo I love Phi Sig

Yeah!!! Iota Gamma pinned three new members on Friday and we are going to pin two more this Wednesday. So we have a total of 5 more new members! Yeah for us.

The best part is I found out I'm getting a new Sapphire Sister from this group of women. They are all so fantastic I can't wait to find out who my new Sapphire Sis is going to be

well, when summer starts, our sorority will be the biggest on campus. . .we pinned 2 girls last week and we're pinning 2 this week. . .

i'm worried about my sorority
my sisters are so happy that we're getting thisclose to total
that they aren't looking for quality anymore
they gave out bids to some girls that i think we should have around some more
but they are getting COB happy because there's a possibility that we'll get 40 girls this semester

besides that, out of the all the girls, i've only heard 2 mention anything about running for offices and being involved in community service
and the new girls who came in last semester that have offices don't want to do it anymore
that bothers me
5 people cannot run a chapter of 30+ girls

Our chapter had to sit down with the Fall class last semester to discuss some of our standards with them. It all started because of a rumor, and some of the girls' feelings were hurt, but I think it helped us to tell them what we had seen of their involvement over the past two semesters. We explained to them that a lot of older sisters were leaving and we needed younger people to step up and take leadership roles. We wanted to be the number one sorority but can't do that when we are no longer in school.

I think it has helped. I have seen a lot more involvement by that class so far this semester. Maybe you need to sit down with the class that is already initiated and have a similar discussion with them.

As for the new members, it's harder because we are not allowed to have new member meetings any more. I would constantly harp on the holding positions and being involved in 2 extracurricular activities during the meeting. Maybe give extra points for people with extra activites. I think the biggest thing is following through with this standard. It is supposed to be a condition of membership. If sisters aren't living up to it, call them down to JBoard and explain their membership is in danger.

Hey guys- I just wanted to share in the love! We got quota for rush (23) and we knew 4 more women who wanted to be a part of Phi Sig, so we did informal for them. With these 27 BEAUTIFUL, hardworking, dedicated and FUN women, we've now reached total for our school, which is 90!!! Oh boy!!!

PHI SIGS ARE THE BEST!!!

Well, I'm finally able to post our numbers. Iota Gamma pinned 13 women yesterday (woo hoo) and have 1 and possibly 2 that we will pin this week. Yeah for us and our fabulous new sisters.

And congrats to ALL of the Phi Sig chapters for great great recruitments this semester - everytime I come into this forum the news gets better and better!!

And PS... I met the Pi chapter new members this weekend - including my GRAND LITTLE!! They are SO cute!!! I was so happy to see that Pi is growing stronger and stronger with every semester!

Everyone else is bragging so I am going to also. Our chapter is doing great. We just initiated 8 girls!! We also have 6 pinned with possibly two more to go. Everyone is really gung ho Phi Sig right now. We are the biggest chapter on our campus and everyone is very excited about the numbers we are getting. All the girls we are getting are great and I believe they are definate assets to Phi Sig. We are only about 10 away from getting total, but whether we get it or not doesn't matter because we know that its better to get girls that are going to care about the sorority than girls who are not going to be around.
