Beta Omega grows to 11X it's size
 

I am exited to tell that Beta Omega, the capter of Portland State University has grown from 1 member to 11 members. Congradulations to our new members, and thank you to National for NOT shutting us down. Fall Formal Rush was great and we are looking forward to informal rush. We have a great group of girls as diverse as they can be! I hope that rush went as well for everyone else.

How Many New Members Did Each Chapter Get?
 

The Theta Chi Chapter at Cal State Sacramento got 19 new members yesterday and we can still COB 6 more women!

HI There,
Well Iota Gamma just finished it's two informational parties (maybe Beth will be kind enough to post the descriptions of the parties). We are the only NPC so essentially I think we do what you guys consider informal recruitment combined with COB's. Between the two parties we are inviting 20 (or 21) women back to Pref Night on Friday. Tomorrow is a Shakey's Night Fundraiser that we are also turning into a very informal recruitment, so we may even have a few more women we're inviting to Pref on Friday. Bid day for us is Saturday with Pinning on Sunday.
Wish us luck. It would be great if we could reach quota and total for the first time. If all 20 women were to come to Pref and accept bids then we would double our chapter size. WOW. Probably wishful thinking but it sure doesn't hurt.

The Gamma Gamma chapter has:

4 signed members (not pinned) (3 from Recruitment and one from COB)

and were waiting on elegablilty for other PNM's which will be out monday!

Annnnd... we will be COBing after four weeks as well!

THERE will probably be about 20 new Phi Sigs on Friday morning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just found out that quota is going to be set at 20 or 21 girls !!!! WOOHOO we have 51 on our invite list for Pref tomorrow This is the largest class we will have had in a LONG TIME !! We might even reach campus total (45) WOOHOO I'm sooo pshcyed right now... !!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Okay, our Rush was really, really small. BUT, our chapter has been very, very busy and we currently have 8 new ladies and we may be pinning 3 more on Sunday!!!!!!! If we keep it up we will have TOTAL in the near future and we will be the largest on campus!!!!!!!!!

So far, Gamma Gamma has 7 new members... 3 through formal and 4 through COB! Good luck to everyone else!

We still haven't begun school! We will be rushing the first weekend though... So October 3, 4, 5, and 6th I think. Hope everyone's term is going well and congradulations on your new members!

WEll I guess I got excited a bit too early.... although our schools recruitement was A LOT bigger than normal and I think Delta Gamma chapter did EXTREMELY well at our parties.... We got only 6 new members today at bid day. Quota was 18... and both other chapters on campus took *almost* quota I believe. The only thing I can think of is that a lot of PNM took our small size into account when choosing because I can't see any other reason why at least some of these woman.. (we had 21 people at pref) didn't want Phi Sig.... :( I am still excited about the woman that we do have and am happy we have girls who saw through some of the dirty rushing I'm sure went on... but I am confused why we didn't get at least somewhat of a similar # of girls it seems to me SOMETHING must've happened... We will be COB'ing... I'll let you know if we get anyone that way.

Delta Psi at the University of West Florida picked up 8 women during formal recruitment 2 weeks ago the last night we picked up 10 more!!!! Quota was 21 this year so we are almost there!! We are so excited about our new additions and I'm soooo excited to see that our other chapters are doing good as well. Good luck to any chapters that haven't had recruitment yet. And congratulations to those who have!!!

Bid day was yesterday and I'm happy to say that we have 11 new wonderful ladies. Here are CSU Stanislaus in Turlock CA, we are one of the only two National Sororities on campus. so i'm very happy!!!!!!!!!!
