No BluPhire-At at all.
You may wish to review the links I posted above.
Over the past few years I have taken the time to not only read up on those but to also talk to those far smarter, far more involved in those matters than I.
From what I have put together, it is my very humble opinion that Sen. John McCain is not a natural born citizen.
However, as I have pointed out, that is not my call nor decision.
And, as he lost the election, we we never know the hows and whys of a decision by the USSC.

WTF there's McCain birthers too?!?
According to the United States naturalization and immigration laws McCain is a natural born citizen. I'm no SCOTUS but natural born citizen = birthright citizenship, so if you're BORN a U.S. citizen (shouldn't matter where) you should be eligible to become president. Unless you're making a case that people not born in the 50 states aren't considered natural born, which would make the residents of PR, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and N Mariana Islands illegitimate citizens.

I figured early on that if there were any legs on the Obama birth issue Hillary Clinton would have been on it like white on rice during the primaries.

If it ever made it to SCOTUS, which I think is at least as big a question as whether he is a natural-born citizen.

Nice try but Romney isn't a birther (he's actually ridiculed the idea) and to call somebody who supports a candidate their "surrogate" is just dumb. But hey, if that's the way it goes nowadays I guess Bill Ayers is Obama's surrogate.
I also fail to see how Romney is bringing up the birther issue by this statement.
Quote:
“I was speaking with one of these business owners who owns a couple of restaurants in town,” said Romney at a campaign event here in Las Vegas, mentioning a private roundtable he held ahead of the event with local residents. “And he said you know I’d like to change the constitution.”
“I’d like to have a provision in the constitution that in addition to the age of the president and the citizenship of the president and the birthplace of the president being set by the constitution, I’d like it also to say that the president has to spend at least three years working in business before he could become President of the United States,” said Romney, recalling the businessowner’s suggestion.

Especially when that someone is a loose cannon like Trump.

I didn't know if you were referencing my post or one of the previously listed links in the OP, but I never suggested Romney was a "birther."

I think he was referring to DrPhil's post.

I guess they know that would have eliminated Reagan from the running.

Cool beans. Politicians have many surrogates.

This quote by Romney is in reference to Trump and many are saying it's directly aimed at Trump's birther issues.

I can understand criticism on the basis of him taking cash in spite of his beliefs etc, but to say Romney is pushing the birther thing because he's taking Trump's cash is a far stretch.
I also think that releasing your birth certificate may now be standard practice for candidates, just as they release tax records (which I believe was started by George Romney).

I think I missed the part where the birthers show a copy of Mrs. Obama's visa showing she was not in Hawaii at the time of the birth.

ETA- Nevermind, I thought you were referring to the First Lady, not Obama's mother Anne Dunham.

Nor would I say Bachman or Gingrich is a surrogate. I don't recall everyone in the '08 primaries jumping up the butts of Obama and McCain after they secured their nominations so why should we expect it for Romney?
I find this statement quite amusing.

So has Obama returned that $1 Million dollar campaign contribution from Bill Mahar yet?
