A PiPhi and a TKE
Were walking I declare,
Down by the river,
Didn't know that I was there.
Well the TKE he was a flirtin',
And the PiPhi she was shy.
He asked her if he could,
and this was her reply.
"You can do it if you want to,
But you better do it right.
You better not do it
Like you did the other night.
Cause if you do I'm telling you,
I'll never let you do it anymore.
I really mean it....
I'LL NEVER LET YOU KISS ME ANYMORE!"

Hahaha, our chapter sings this one, but we sing DU (our on fraternity on Campus)

Ocean to Ocean?

With arms extending in friendship unending
Pi Phi holds out to you-ou-ou-ou
Ocean to ocean in lasting devotion
Arms that are bound by the wine and silver blue-

From rocky Maine there's a chain to the Golden Gate afar,
Links of gold that will hold you no matter where you are-

Whate'er betides you, there's Pi Beta Phi beside you
Holding her arms to you!

I'm a Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi Beta Phi!

Now if I had a son sir, I'll tell you what I'd do,
I'd make him all his rompers out of Wine and Silver Blue
And when he went to college, he'd be a frat boy too (or insert frat name, ie: And when he went to college, he'd be a Beta too or he'd be a Sigma Nu)
he'd learn to love those PiPhi's like his daddy used to do

And if I had a daughter, I'll tell you what I'd do,
I'd send her off to college to wear the arrow too.
She'd never pledge another house, or pass those PiPhi's by,
She'd be a Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi Beta Phi!

Refrain

And when we go up yonder, to see that heavenly view
St. Pete will run to greet us, and say 'You'll surely do!
You've sisters galore who've come before, you're always in supply,
You're a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi-a-Pi Beta Phi!'
I LOVE THIS SONG! We call it the romper song at Indiana Gamma and it's always so loud!

LOL Jess! The Romper Song is usually pretty loud, but remember it gets crazy because not everyone knows it! LOL. I love that song too!

Just got through singing w/ my sisters!

To the the tune of "The Saints Go Marching In" (with Seniors singing paranthesis)

Pi Beta Phi! (Pi Beta Phi!)
Pi Beta Phi! (Pi Beta Phi!)
Pi Beta Phi is wine and blue!
and we wear the Golden Arrow
for the Arrow's straight and true!

The Arrow is (the Arrow is)
A symbol of (a symbol of)
Pi Beta Phi friendship and love
We're as happy as can be
Pi Beta Phi fraternity

Of course my mostest favorite of all is in my signature... And I've already posted my other favorites... There's always Ring, Ching... but I think everyone knows that!

If you need the tune to "Remember"... pull out the new member CD-Rom. That, and songs that are basic for ceremonial purposes and a few others are sung in the "media" section.

One of the entrants in the convention song contest was a holiday ring ching.. adapted for christmas!

Ask your president for a copy of the convention song contest book for ideas... there were some really great songs entered (and they were entered with the intent that people take them back to their chapters). There even was one to the "chicken dance' song!!

COME ON OVER

Hello ladies! I am in serious need of some help. We are wanting to have a great formal rush and do some different skits then what we have done in the past. I am needing the words to the Christina Agulaira (sp?) "COME ON OVER" with the Pi Phi words. I think Bucknel was the college we have spoken to about the skit but it is so hard to get a hold of them. Could some one please email me those words?

Thanks,

So since recruitment is just around the corner (yay!!!!) I thought I would bump this thread up! I love all the song threads esp. when people post new songs their chapters use for things One of my favorites is one that I haven't seen anyone mention yet. idk the title, but the words are:
Honey, my little girl, won't you come and let me whisper in your ear.
For you know, I love you so.
You're just the girl for our sorority.
You have a heart, you stole our own,
And sure as the arrow's true
Won't you tell us that you love us
And pledge to the wine and blue

I also like Pass It On, but it seems like it varies among every chapter!

Hello Ladies,

I was wondering if anyone had any good "good-bye" songs. And curious also to know if everyone sings while the rushee's are entering the house and/or when the rushee's leave.
Thisis an upbeat song and we sing it while the girls walk walkingout:

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye to you from Pi Beta Phi
When you're home and safe in bed let Pi Phi dreams run through your head
when you're awake you'll know it's true that Pi Phi wants a sister like you
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, good bye to you from Pi Beta Phi.

it goes over and over again, we clap, it's almost like a square dance song to me

I LOVE that song. It's so catchy. I'm an alum and haven't gone through recruitment in almost 2 years, but man, I still sing that song!

At UMaine we sing the song a little differently:

Remember the Pi Phi Arrow
The wine and silver blue
The loyalty and the friendship
You know they always will bring to you
Remember the wine carnation
The pearls that gleam so bright
So put on your Pi Phi arrow
And you'll know you've chosen right.

I love reading all the different versions of our songs from around the country!!!!
