Going back to the Beta Chapter of DZO...on their website it says they are recruiting women who are "an undergraduate student in a Spokane area college or university" Sounds like they aren't tied to one campus...wonder how that affects their status with their university?

I think We all know a Local Per Se is on one campus.
But how many Chapters does it mean that They are not Local anymore?
Usually, National means that they are on or in more than 1 State as I understand it.
International is in more than One Country, usually meaning Canada and USA.
I find it fasinating that MLGLOs and LGLOSs are expanding and am glad to see someone finding Their Niche in Greek Society!
Now, when do We all gather and understand this?
There is a deffinent reason for the New GLOs!

Looking at the groups page it appears that they were looking to affiliate with a group starting in summer 2004. I wonder if they tried to go NPC and the campus wasn't open for expansion as an NPC sorority recently left. I guess chartering as Delta Xi Omega means they can have members from Gonzaga, Whitworth, WSU Spokane Campus, Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College, and other assorted schools? How does that work with insurance?
The EWU Greek information pages are a mess as there are many errors, not just of facts but also some spelling.

I would hazard a guess that they have no insurance. Which is a terrible idea

Attention Sisters!
I suggest all Sigma Kappa sisters check out the bulletin board in our For Sisters Only area. Specfically in the Collegians / Miscellaneous forum. All I can say is WooHoo!!! I'm very happy with the outcome.

multiple chapters/metro chapters
I guess some outfit could spread a charter here in Denver and
draw from a couple dozen institutions. They could claim 24 more
chapters, too. And with 2-3 from each school, they might be able
to carve out a club and make everybody feel good. Never mind the origin of Fraternity. In fact, a charter could be bestowed at a
location to be determined and serve the entire front range.
Wouldn't that be peachy? And you could hire one of the hotshot
unemployed english teachers to write up the traditions and go to
a local mall to arrange for the jewelry. Yep, that'd work. Field chapters could be placed in the mountains so the members could ski together. This may be a wave of the future.

Golly Gee Whiz E C, is the fore bearinger of the Future?
As 4 Year Colleges refuse to take GLOs will we be relagated to these Young Upstart 2 Year Schools and Salon Schools?
Is this where Our Future will really be.
