Try being in your 30's, married, dreaming of spring breaks long past and knowing that the only hope of having one again is living vicariously through your children....(long sigh)

I hear this--but who's to say you can't break away with a few girlfriends for a long girls' weekend? My friends and I make an annual trip somewhere warm every year. We have hit Miami, done a cruise, Cozumel, but the past few trips have been to Tampa--perhaps Vegas this year--I love Vegas. Seeing as we are all separated all over the country, this is sometimes the only time we get to see one another all year.

IMO, you never get too old to take a spring break.

Dude, I've been 3 times for spring break. We went there to go surfing. If thats what you're wanting to do there, be sure to bring at least 3 boards. I broke all 3 that I brought. The waves snapped them in half. On our trips we paid 500$, but that was in 98, 99 and 2000.


This spring break I think I want snow, it'll be either Sweden or Switzerland.

The Greek islands are really really really cold during spring break. Hardly anyone is there, except for the islanders. The bars & clubs are all closed until June. So if I were you, I'd nix Greece from your list.

Okay, so our plans have changed! We're now going to West Palm Beach (we got a really good discount at the Embassy Suites).

Cashmoney, since you are from there, can you tell me how close the hotel is to the beach and where all the action is happening? We're debating on renting a car and this will definately help the decision process. I'll appreciate any advice you can offer me!

I'm going to Chicago. I have family there so everythign will be free for the most part except for entertainment or anything I want to buy myself.

Next year will be LasVegas because I have family there too.

Argh. The last spring braek I was on was Cancun 2001. It was an awesome time, but I think I'm past that spring break age. I just wana go somewhere to chill and not have to worry about getting ready to go out to clubs and whatever. I was supposed to go down to Georgia and take a Phi Mu road trip, but that was definately nixed. So maybe we'll go to Frankenmuth.

now that i'm out of school i don't have spring break to look forward to anymore (although the only place i went during school was mardi gras). however at the end of april i'm going down to Mexico for a few days; that will be nice.

Now I'm thinking the Bahamas instead of Costa Rica. Orbitz found me a good deal with airfare and hotel..Has anyone been to the bahamas. I'm thinking of staying in the Wyndham hotel in Paradise Island. I'm looking for things to do there too?? Let me know! Thanks
