African folk are always creative with the comb...it's nice to see the flow of my brethren in their creative phases....

However, MY preference is for the clean cut. Men with braids...UGH I saw this grown man, like 50+ with braids sitting in front of me in church last Sunday...and I was struck by it....yes STRUCK..stricken to think he was too old to be profiling that do!

I just am not feeling the braid trend. I think well kept locks look good. But nothing but a clean cut brother with intellect and a fire for God gets my attention!

I know I am a bit late, but I have to agree with the majority this time. I do not care for any kind of braid on a man. I have yet to see a man who looks attractive with braids. Course, I haven't seen this changing faces video...
I love locs. I like fros (as long as they see a pick each and every day). I like the clean cut look also.
As for perms, on the average man NO! But I have to admit that I always thought that Snoop was pretty cool, while being secretly bitter because his hair is just so darn pretty.

Since I just finished the hour-long process to braid the hair of each of my daughters, I can safely say "braids belong on girls, period". Whenever I see a man or young boy in braids, my first thought is "hood-rat". Sorry if I've caused offense, but I'm definitely old-school on this one. Stop the madness -- ain't nothing wrong with looking respectable.
