Of course, everyone deserves to have their vote counted if you follow the balloting rules. You don't punch a clear hole or make some other mistake, have it corrected or no it doesn't count. Like with anything else, you play by the rules or don't play.

This is not isolated. "The People have Spoken". Do you think this is an exception. This happens every election. Some votes don't get counted because they are not properly marked, people in some states voting twice, people registered in more than one state voting in both states, people voting in the name of dead people, or democrats grabbing homeless and coaxing them to the ballot booth for a pack of smokes. These things happen every election.

The country has been great for the past eight years. Realize this, everything is a snowball. The last eight piggybacked off of the previous 12 as those piggybacked off of the previous 100, 200, 300, but I shan't go on.

As for what the former President Bush has done. Oh well. I know plenty of people whose fathers are in jail. Does that mean they too are fated to do the same?

Do you think this is helping Gore? No matter who wins this will be a one term presidency. Talk about the forest for the trees. Gore would've been a shoe in for the next presidency. Now, he is ruining that.

So you mean to say that you think W is the best candidate? He is a pawn for his father, who couldn't get elected again if he tried. W does not know what he is doing. You honestly think that we need an illiterate idiot representing our country? YOU said that the economy is a result of a snow ball effect. Spare me the stupid comments!! The state of this country is a direct result of the decisions and programs developed and instituted by the governing body(executive branch). Who says this will be a one term president? It will be if we let that imbecile in the office. If YOU think that the writing is on the wall, then you are on the same dope that W is on!!

I don't necessarily agree with your choice of Presidential candidate, but you get 10 points for standing up in the face of adversity.

Dex, relax bro. If he was illiterate, he wouldn't be able to read the teleprompter to read his victory speech. He doesn't know what he's doing? Who does until they get there? I am quite numb with a define green tinge; however, I need to get off my a$$ and make certain that I do everything in my power to make certain that the local and state democrats I helped to elect deliver! Everyone says that 'Oh, it's only 4 years!'. When I thought about what that realistically means for ME, I think about the fact that my children who are now 4 and 7 will be 8 and 11. God forbid something were to happen to me and they had to have a guardian not of my choosing. A guardian that I personally don't feel will have their best interest at heart. Yeah, there are systems in place and morals I have instilled in them to prevail but in four years alot of damage can be done to them.

So now that our nation is being governed by someone whom I feel truly doesn't have my best interest at heart I now have to heavily lean upon all other support systems to make certain that MY INTERESTS are protected!

Mojo, you keep saying that the "People have spoken" What "People" are you talking about? You are aware that Gore won the popular vote by a little less than 400,000 votes. The people have spoken, and they elected Gore, now some arbitrary institution--that we like to call the Electoral College--is going to certify a man who did not win the nation vote.
Are you talking about the people that were disfranchised? The more than 50% that voted for Gore? Or are those the people whose voice does not count, whose voices fall on deaf ears. So when you say "the People have Spoken" what is it that you mean exactly.

You know you are right mojo. I should relax. My mother always taught me that knowledge made you rich. I must say that after listening to your comment you must be the brokest black man in America. Upon further review of your statements, I find that the rest of us are now just a little dumber for taking anything that you say seriously. Obviously you do not remember that he spoke at that racist university in South Carolina. you have obviously forgotten the numerous speeches in which he attempted to make up words. You obviously payed no attention to the fact that his brother is the head of the state that unfairly got him elected. You certainly ignored the speech he gave last week in which he tried to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people by saying that he had a strong faith in God and his favorite scripture was John 16:3. Of course the rest of us know that he meant John 3:16. Do you know what John 16:3 says? " And they will do this because they have not known the Father nor me". Even the Lord is trying to warn us of how STUPID this man is! As for your comment about the people speaking, I must ask you to check your facts before making comments that might illustrate the level of intelligence that you may posses. My comments are not meant to cause you to dislike me but to increase your awareness by asking you to think before you talk.
Good luck with your new president and God Bless because I'm moving to Jerusalem until he is gone (sike)!

He can't be that stupid he got himself elestced. His brother didn't mess up the ballots. Idiots not being ablr to follow directions did that. If you can't follow simple instructions, perhaps your vote shouldn't count.

I don't dislike you, you seem to be a thinking fella. I have no problem with intelligent correspondence. Like it or not though, he's OUR new pres.

Because I disagree on the side of right, everyone is a little dumber? The narrow mindedness of democrats is definitley seen in those words. As far as Bush's faith we are not to judge, lest we be..

I shall propose a toast to a prosperous 4 years.

One further comment...
LET'S ALL RALLY AND MAKE CERTAIN THAT WE GET OUT AND VOTE IN THE 2002 ELECTIONS (SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN)!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, both houses are very close in numbers (Democrats vs Republicans). It should be our goal to make certain that we take over both in 2002!
