^^ The comments she received were honest and helpful. If she doesn't want to be a KD now because of things that members from other GLOs, and one very nice KD, said in order to help her get recs (call Panhellenic office, meet other KDs and sorority members, talk to alumnae members, etc.), then it's not worth her going through recruitment anyway.

goldengirl... I would suggest doing your research. If nothing else, call the Panhellenic office to ask about the entire recruitment process and about your options for the spring. Because the only people who will truly be able to help you to understand are the students, alumnae, and faculty associated with your particular campus. And whether you were "offended" here or not, that should not affect your decision about going through recruitment, or trying to become a member of Kappa Delta at your school.

And if for some reason you do allow people on an internet message board to rule your life, then I'm sorry for you.

I see ONE reply from a Kappa Delta. And good job checking up on something you posted over a month ago, isn't FSU formal recruitment over? Good luck getting Kappa Delta when you rush as a senior.

Goldengirl, I already have a very STRONG feeling who you are, if you went through recruitment this fall, and received a bid from a house which you turned down. Clearly there is already one other golden girl in KD, maybe you can ask her if her chapter is doing spring recruitment. Regardless, if you are who I think you are, you are ineligible to participate in spring recruitment since you received a bid during fall recruitment.
