Flushing after drinking alcohol

I actually have this happen every time I drink. I just figured that I couldn't really handle alcohol b/c of slight blood sugar probs. But, every time I drink, I get super hot, feel sick at my stomach, a little dizzy... I had no idea that other people actually have this happen all the time. Apparantly, it's not just a problem for people of Asian descent. People of many races have this problem.

Tippie...it actually sounds like you have an allergy to the alcohol. This is how it started with my sister, and somewhat with me. I can only drink honey based wines now (meads). My sister is completely allergic and must avoid alcohol (even skin contact).
