Journeyman was hard to get in to, but it was worth it at the end. It was a bit confusing at first. It ended up being a good show that I will try to watch again.

Did anyone watch kid nation?

Thoughts?

I call it baby survivor

Let's see...if a kid had a gold star worth 20,000...if there really wasn't any adults around...how much time would it have taken before some of those kids jumped him for it....LOL

I had to watch it with the kids I babysat last week and needless to say I watched it by myself last night. It's definitely not the best show out there, but it's cute and decent to watch. I can't believe they killed the chickens. I mean it was probably the right thing to do, but wow.

I definitely agree with the "baby survivor" comment though. If I were in middle school I'd SO want to be on this show, because there's not anything else out there like it for that age group.

That was the other thing...what about kids that have problems with killing another creature? I am sure that they have counselors on hand to see how they feel...

As I already said in this thread, I watched Kid Nation...the first episode anyway. It was boring, and there was too much of an adult presence for a show that is supposed to be kids only. To me it felt like they were being babysat. Plus, kids in real life don't talk like most of those kids do, so it makes me think they were either coached or the kids are actors.

Anyway, the first episode didn't draw me in enough to make me want to watch the following weeks.

Not in my opinion you didn't. If you ever watched the show "Boomtown" that NBC had a few years ago it reminds me of that.

Dirty Sexy Money was a big disappointment. The only highlight was the trannie who got into bed with the Baldwin.

I want my 60 minutes back, ABC.

Baby Borrowers

NBC has made a show titled "Baby Borrowers" which starts midseason.

It sounds really disturbing, and they lose points for filming it in my state.

I think the idea behind this is interesting, but not in practice. There are reasons why they can't perform some experiments in psychology, because it goes against the code of the ethics... This seems to walk that fine line.

I saw the first show and thought the same thing... so I end up on CBS checking out the profiles of the kids... yeah most of them appear to be in the business or are trying to be.

I believe this is based off of a British reality show.

I was suprised that the one girl stayed cuz she had said earlier that she would leave if they killed the chickens. But then when she was explaining why she changed her mind, she said "When my mom told me to come here, she said to be a rough-and-tough cowgirl, so I’m going to stay." I found that rather disturbing.

I actually kinda liked Life. But I could totally see it being another one of those shows that I like but no one else does, so it ends up getting cancelled...like Raines, Related, Twins, and The Class.
