Did anyone watch kid nation?
Thoughts?
I call it baby survivor
Let's see...if a kid had a gold star worth 20,000...if there really wasn't any adults around...how much time would it have taken before some of those kids jumped him for it....LOL

I had to watch it with the kids I babysat last week and needless to say I watched it by myself last night. It's definitely not the best show out there, but it's cute and decent to watch. I can't believe they killed the chickens. I mean it was probably the right thing to do, but wow.
I definitely agree with the "baby survivor" comment though. If I were in middle school I'd SO want to be on this show, because there's not anything else out there like it for that age group.

That was the other thing...what about kids that have problems with killing another creature? I am sure that they have counselors on hand to see how they feel...

As I already said in this thread, I watched Kid Nation...the first episode anyway. It was boring, and there was too much of an adult presence for a show that is supposed to be kids only. To me it felt like they were being babysat. Plus, kids in real life don't talk like most of those kids do, so it makes me think they were either coached or the kids are actors.
Anyway, the first episode didn't draw me in enough to make me want to watch the following weeks.

I saw the first show and thought the same thing... so I end up on CBS checking out the profiles of the kids... yeah most of them appear to be in the business or are trying to be.
