Well, this makes it very hard for people who don't know them very well to judge them based on irrelevant information and assert their own superiority.

It wouldn't have made a difference to me, but I probably would not have asked the question unless I was prepared to live with the answer.
Now, if she was popping out babies or whatever, that may change things, but that's a whole other subject...
But, maybe I'm not even the right person to ask, since I haven't been in the dating pool for a few years.
