Happy belated Founders Day to all!
I was a bit sad that I missed out on Founders Day this year. I did have a chance to reflect on my own. It was kind of funny, on Wed morning, Founders Day was the last thing on my mind, but as I was getting ready for work I deiced to put on my Dolphin/Delta necklace (I don't know if they sell it anymore, but it is a silver delta with three dolphins jumping around it) anyway, didn't even occur to me at the time. Later in the day when our school was celebrating Thanksgiving, and someone mentioned Thanksgiving Eve, it hit me! Today is Founders Day! I then realized what I had chosen to wear around my neck and it made me smile.

How cool was the Founders' Day message in the Tri Delta Foundation email that was an actual recording of Sarah Ida Shaw from the 1938 National Convention. So weird to hear her voice and try to picture her as a young woman creating Tri Delta. I'm sure her voice changed a lot between 1888 and 1938, though. Haha. Happy Belated Founder's Day!!
It has been crazy around here- but I managed to find my badge from the latest move and wore it to work on Wednesday. Got lots of compliments on it. It was great to explain it and the concept of my sisterhood and what it stands for to so many who have only been exposed to sororities on TV/movies.
