There are nine within 5 miles of my house according to their website but it doesn't list two more that I know are around.

There are eighteen within 5 miles of my school, but I go to school downtown and am within 5 miles of the University of Minnesota which is apparently bursting with them.

Do you think there are more Caribou Coffes up there than Starbucks? My friend who lives in the cities loves their coffee.

There are over 10 Caribous within 5 miles of my house and at least 10 within a mile of my school, so yes.

I like Caribou better but I usually make my own tea or hot chocolate in the microwaves because I am poor.

Me either, but the good news is that the Celtec Isles Pub is two stores down from the Starbucks in our local Safeway.

There are 182 Starbucks within 5 miles of my home. I swear they or Dunkin' Donuts are on every other block in Manhattan, but I have purchased Starbucks products (hot chocolate) only twice in my entire life.

Dunkin' Donuts has 69 stores located within 5 miles of my home.

Starbucks is in the Safeway, there's a liquor store next door, and the Celtec Pub next door to that.

Well, there may be a tax office between the liquor store and pub, come to think of it -- but I don't go in there.

There are 20 within a five mile radius of my office in Lower Manhattan, but one of them doesn't really count because it's in Brooklyn.

There are "only" 5 within a five mile radius of my house, and to get to 4 of them you have to get on the highway.

Talking

There are 12 within a 5 mile radius of my condo; and I live at the edge of town! Only 2 are within a 2 mile radius though.

There's 6 within 2 miles of my parents house and 20 within 5 miles.

There is only 1 within 5 miles of my zip code. Something odd though.. apparently there is a zip code in Texas that is identical to my zip code in Michigan. This is the second Store Locator thing I did that also listed a bunch in Texas with the same zip code. I thought Zip Codes were unique...

ETA: Just checked on the Postal Service web site and apparently the zip code for that city in TX is not the same. Some store locators are clearly off somehow.

There's one about a mile from my house. And there's three in East Lansing which is less than 10 miles away. Beaner's seems to be more popular here.

In my neck of the burbs, there's 3 Starbucks, 1 Dunkin Donuts, and 1 Gloria Jean's in a five minute drive.

It's because college students need someplace to escape to when they want to get away from studying (or because they need coffee WHILE they're studying).

There's ONE Starbucks within 5 miles of where I live - and that's the one in Albertsons. You just need to get out of San Diego into the boondocks, Stan
