The mother is 25.
Her oldest daughter is 13 and expecting a baby in April.

So the mom will be a 25/26 year old grandmother. The mother was 12 when she became a mom. The cycle continues.
Maybe with the adoption of this family your chapter can help stop the cycle with the other children.

Oh my! Y'all 12 and 13 years old is what....6th or 7th grade!
At this age, girls should be thinking about how to decorate their locker, passing notes and not getting caught, playing slide, mash, wearing lip gloss, being hype because your momma stopped braiding your hair, riding you bike, etc.

I can't imagine the things this woman and now her daughter may be going through. To be a mom at 13!

CT4, I hope your chapter considers adopting this family for more than the holidays. It sounds like this woman and her daughter and now grand-daughter need to be exposed to mature, goal-oriented, educated black women such as yourself.
