Several of my fellow Canadian sisters found it interesting that coffee was served in the middle of the main course rather than after it.

My guess is with the sheer volume of people that needed to be served, they started in the middle of the main course to ensure everyone had coffee by dessert.

OK, I see. Thanks! Some of the ladies thought it was a local custom.

ETA: I loved the "sweet tea" they served at the final lunch. Can someone tell me what kind of tea to use and what else they put in it? Thanks

For those of you who enjoyed the sweetened tea or the strawberry soup, please PM me and I'll share the recipes! And a piece of trivia - both recipes are from our past International President, Suzanne Carmack Spicer!

I thought the food was pretty good, other than the fact that I ate so much salad I felt like a rabbit!

I miss my phat Concierge level room on the 40th floor.

Did anyone else eat at Ventoso's while we stayed at the hotel?

hello...I know i"m kind of late on this....but I did not like very much of what we at all! I'm very picky, and I guess just not a high class girl, haha. I was looking for hamburgers! Thought I loved the filet on the last night :-D We went to Harry Carey's on our night off, and it was amazing! A little pricey, but amazing! I suggest to anyone in/ or going to the Chicago area eat there! Yummy!
