I concur Brother Tony  ,
Is it me, or did any other men have a huge crush on "Claire" back in the day....she was Sooo BAD, still is. That picture doesn't do her justice.
As for the award, I wouldn't expect nothing less from such an outstanding woman-simply flawless.

I thought it was just me not feeling her pic. I liked when she rocked that short haircut the last season of the show.

2d; I flipped back and forth between the Tony's and the game, so I could see the awards. Mary J. was really good, I can't remember the song she sang, but it was apart of their tribute to the top 10 greatest broadway songs!
Congrats Ms. Rashad- I almost jumped out of my seat last night!
Kudos also to Audra McDonald(Rasin),Anika Noni Rose(Caroline or Change), both African American Actresses who also won nfor best featured actress in a play or musical.
Taye Diggs wife, India Menzel won best lead actress in a musical.

Been tryin to get here
I have been trying to get her for a minute now. but I wanted to say congrats to Ms. Rashad. She is a strong woman. She has influenced many women (including myself) with the roles that she plays. I think to this day, if it wasn't for her on the Cosby Show--where would I be?
She is most deserving of all her accolades.
BTW, I think she looks like Black Ms. Liberty in her outfit all she needs is the tablet and torch. Absolutely beautiful!

I found it amazing that she was NEVER nominated for an Emmy while she played Claire Huxtable. The show always received nominations and awards, but she never received a nod.
Interesting. Those were the 80s, the 90s, the new millennium. LOL

I was really impressed with her poise and the remarks that she made. However, she looked like Leoteen(?) Price in that cloak.

i saw it today and Soror Star talked about how excited she was that Soror Phylicia won the Tony and how good the play was. i also must say it was cute to see Soror Star in her pink sitting next to Soror Phylicia in her green
