Well I used to work at a Subway resturant and the majority of guys I have ever given my real number to were guys I met when I was working. Nothing really serious came from any of them but it was fun. Most of the people who worked there were girls so the guys would tell their friends to come to our Subway to see us. That was some good times!! Now usually guys try to pick me up at functions and I am like no way hun!! My newest place to meet guys is wrestling meets though. I have become one of the super fans for our team. Last week two friends and I were at a tournament that had like 20 teams. We were in heaven with all the eye candy!!! Good times!!

I hate dating guys I meet in bars. I've done it and it's never gone well.
The most successful relationships, I guess, have been the ones where I've been set up by friends.....probably because they understand me and my personality the best.
I recently dated a guy I work with, and it didn't work out and I still have a crush on him.....so that's no good

I met the guy that I just broke up with when my sorority had a party with his fraternity last May and it worked out pretty well for quite some time, even though we met while we were both intoxicated.
The only other guy I've been seriously involved with since being in college I met while hanging around his fraternity house when we were paired with them for greek week. I know after college that will no longer be an option as a place to meet people, but for now it's great! Though I really do NOT like the girls in my house and other houses that date a guy from whoever their current partner is for homecoming or greek week. It's SURPRISINGLY common here, wouldn't you agree Jules?! It's kind of creepy actually.
I have met guys in the library which is awesome, and also while I'm at work (I'm a waitress) and that's a little sketchy.
I agree about not liking to date someone I'm friends with and we have a lot of friends in common. I just did that actually and now that we're broken up I got all the girl friends and he gets all the guys. It sucks.
I wish I went grocery shopping b/c that seems like a great place to pick up men apparently haha. Oh well I guess I'll settle for meeting guys in the university bookstore for now.

I've met a few guys online. I met my ex online when he was in the army. This one guy I met online showed up to one of our high school's basketball games and ended up dating a girl I went to school with. I met my other ex at school back in 7th grade. And another guy I met when me and my friends were cruising the E (Eureka) and ended up finding out that he was friends wtih my friend's boyfriend.

Yep! When I was single, I must have dated at least three different guys that I met there. Nice guys, too - just not my nice guys!
I did fix one up with a sister, though!

So it looks like I'm the only one...I met Mr. valkyrie at a bar, a sports bar, even -- so I can't say that I have any problem with meeting someone at a bar. Besides, cool people go to bars all the time.

Naaah. . . I have met people at bars and other places. Its all the same they are all just people.
You girls are odd, why is a bar all that different? The same person that goes to a grocery store goes to bars (people all eat you know). The only real difference is that you have a greater probability of actually having sexual contact straight from a bar.
I really have met some awesome people in bars . .
So far I have had good luck even when I dated a girl named after the Anti-Christ who's parents had imprisoned her in a Christian Retreat.
The best places to meet people are on trips and in airports . . everyone is friendlier and more open . .. and you don't have to see them again .
