You know why clowns are so downright freaky and scary, don't you? It's because modern clowns' makeup and costumes are derived from outfits worn by actors playing the Devil in medieval theatre productions...no kidding, I read this somewhere. I can totally see it...clowns are awful.

*shiver* I can definitely see it, too. Know what else is freaky about clowns? They always have that big, goofy smile painted on their face so you can never tell by their expression what they're thinking. It's unsettling. I don't actually know anyone who likes clowns.

I dotn know if I shared this with ya'll, but I have the fear of clowns and about 2 months ago I went to Austin to see my friend Melissa who is at UT law. So were out at some bar on 6th street and were all gettign our drink on, dancing having a good time, the group's having a good time, yada.

I look over and theres 5 clowns in full on makeup dancing and freaking with each other. This one clown is licking this chick clowns nipples on the dance floor, getting makeup all over her boob, TOTALLY FREAKING ME OUT. I almost had to go to the ER.

OMG, lifesaver, that is just wrong, but hysterical!!!

Has anyone seen the Saturn Ion commercial with the clowns in the backseat of the car? The clown in the middle is especially evil. I drive a Saturn (not an Ion, though) and I now find myself checking for clowns in my backseat...ACK!!!

Pennywise is the sole reason that I hate clowns. We went to tha state fair this year and I almost cried when a clown came up too me. All my family could do was laugh but I thought I was going to pass out. SCARY!!

I never could figure out how clowns were supposed to be funny. When I was a kid and my parents would take us to the circus I was at first bored by the clowns and then annoyed by them as they tended to interrupt interesting performances and generally get in the way. Also, I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to set themselves up intentionally to be objects of ridicule. Why would anyone make a career out of looking and acting like a total idiot. I understand the role of the "fool" in the royal courts of the middle ages but I expect that role has now been assigned to network anchor persons. Sorry, I just find clowns pointless.
