Ahh, McBryde McBryde. My best friend went to USC and I spent many a weekend on his hall when I visited. I've been to South Tower too to visit the DGs, but there were only a few girls around. When he was a freshman he lived in Bates House (or maybe Bates West?). Either way it was a pretty ugly dorm.

I went down to USC a few weekends ago with him and saw the new houses. They're very nice, I wish we could have gone inside and looked around.

I lived on the Horseshoe in Rutledge college dorm at USC. By far the nicest place to be and the place was HUGE.

Yeah... did they call them the honey combs? They don't call them that anymore, they call them the towers. The reason that I mention this is because if you talk to anyone over, say, 45 they'll call them the honeycombs... does this give you a little hint how long they've been there?! Rumor has it they're about to tear them down, but who knows.

I lived in Capstone for a while... that one wasn't that bad, except you didn't really have a choice how your room was arranged. And South Tower is HORRIBLE.... I live in one of the biggest rooms, and it's still tiny! East Quad and South Quad are the best ones... they're apartment-style and everyone has their own separate room.

I gotta say, though, the greek housing is really nice.... The ATO's had a really good interior designer... it's beautiful. And as far as the one that I'd like to live in the most, it's gotta be DZ... they were really smart when they designed theirs. They have studies that are separate from their bedrooms, and I think that's a really great idea. Girls complained because their house is one of the smaller ones, but the inside is probably the best designed, so it doesn't really matter if it's the smallest, anyway. Not that some of the others aren't really pretty, too... ZTA has a gorgeous spiral staircase, and Tri-Delta has some beautiful murals. Well, all of them have their perks.
