It's hard to follow along as an alum initiate, but they initiated nine alphas in November, along with five last spring. These were from three batches of COB. So, 14 new alphas (now all deltas!) when total was around 55 isn't too bad for our campus. We have formal recruitment at Valpo in January-- I hope to have some good news on alphas at that point.

Just an update on our chapter. . .

We won the UNA chant (new and we won) - We "own" the Fashion Merchandising School @UNA - We got ms valhalla (ATO thing) - We have the VP of the Student Government - We have the president of Phi Beta Lambda - We were well represented at StepSing (same weekend as DLC, so that is a success in itself) - We are in a new growing year with Open Recruitment STRONG - I am sure there is alot more but I am just the advisor so I don't know all of the fun stuff like greekweek and derbydays etc.

I am looking forward to recruitment with a ton of changes and beautiful women. I can't wait to be their to see how things go.

A year before Eta Mu was shut down, our 2004 President was voted Greek President of the Year. Our 2005 President was voted Greek Woman of the Year. Also one of our sisters was voted Greek Scholar of the Year. It's sad to see such great women not able to carry on the Eta Mu legacy anymore....

Upsilon went to the Arete awards a couple weeks ago and won 5 out of the 6 categories. Also at DLC, we won like 7+ awards!! We joked today at our Founders' Day brunch that the Arete awards were really ADPi Arete Awards! So the other sororities on campus should follow us in excellence! ;-)
