As a 14 year old boy, in almost any normal school, you would be a freaking idol if you got a blow job in class . . .

Hell 10 years ago getting a blow job at 14 at all was pretty noteworthy.

People are going to have sex. Keep in mind that 14 is old enough to marry by a lot of state laws.

The real issue is to try and teach them that they should have been a little more discreet.

Any issue as to how soon they should be haivng sex is really up to the parents.

Denying them an education over it, which a year long suspension does, is ludicrous.

As far as the teacher . . . He didn't do anything wrong that the article reveals.

The lawsuit . . is well . . . stupid . . although, if the boy had gone down on the girl, I wager she might have gotten a lot more sympathy for a suit.

Naive Teacher

Is it me? At 10,11, or 12 I didn't even know about oral sex much least would have done it. What kind of home life does this child have to even know about oral sex? Its clear that she is not watching the cartoon network.

what about the fact that you have 5th graders who are this old? Therein lies the problem!

I was telling someone the other day that about how freaky my 7th graders are--they party like rock stars. And they were like "7th grade!!" But I had to tell them that I have 14, 15, 16 year old 7th graders. They're the same age as juniors in high school and how many juniors did you know having sex? EXACTLY!!

I don't think them being exposed to more things can be the only explanation. Heck I was exposed to a lot of stuff way before I became interested in sex. Is it the hormones in milk or something?

Okay, please don't take this as though I don't think this is a serious issue, but does anyone else see the humor in getting your salad tossed if you break the brown bracelet?

Okay...continue .

Re: Children's Sex Games

Another soror shared:
There is also another "sex game" being played by middle school children. They're called Rainbow Parties. At these parties, the girls put different shades of lipstick on & perform oral sex on each boy. At the end, the boys' penises have different color lipstick rings that I guess look like a rainbow & hence the name Rainbow Parties. I live in the Baltimore Metro area but I am sure this game is not isolated to this area. These activities take place after the parent leaves but before the child goes to school or during the infamous hours after school but before the parents come home.

Just yesterday my co-worker was telling me about the school his wife works at in Michigan. They had a total lockdown. Bathrooms, closets, gyms, empty classrooms, any hiding space has to be locked at all times. All the students have to be escorted any and everywhere by an adult. No classroom is allowed to be left without supervision. At this school they called this "game" a circle party.

Yeah the infamous hours after school but before the parents come home. This is why Mr Toocute and I are trying to get our isht together so by time CJ is in 5th grade almost Jr. High...I can be a stay at home mom or maybe work part time. I will be HOME to meet his azz when school is out.

I think I was still playing with dolls when I was in middle school.

I look at these girls now and am terrified for my daughter. They actually think that getting an STD is better than getting pregnant.
I wasn't thinking about bjs in elementary OR middle school...ewwwww..shoot, I didnt even know what "tossing a salad" meant until a few years ago and I am 27!

While I agree that abstinence should be taught in sex ed, I also think that these kids should be given the ENTIRE story. In HS, we saw a film of a woman giving birth. That was 2 years before I took the plunge, so to speak. I'd rather my daughter know the whole story about sex, FROM HER PARENTS, than to get wrong information on the street or from her friends.

And I commend the males out there doing their jobs as fathers/father figures. A big part of the reason why girls become sexually active can be linked to the absence of a father... *smh*

I still don't know what tossing the salad is, and I'm almost 25! Would someone PM me?

This blows my mind. I didn't even start thinking about this kind of stuff until I was almost to college... and these are middle schoolers??? I have a feeling I'm going to be woefully naive when my own kidlets come along.

Edit: Oh, my. Well, now I know!

This hit close to home recently. One of my best friend's close relative ( she's 13) ran away from home for three days. When police brought her back home, her parents found out she had been with a boy but she couldn't remember how many she had been with. Now that htat has happened, she has had incidents at school where guys are throwing money at her telling her to them. It's sad. She still doesn't see how dangerous this is. She wants everything she wears extra tight and now walks like a peacock so her butt can stick out more. I just shake my head and hope she learns before it becomes too late.

I am on the same listserv as CT4 and one of sorors indicated that these things are all over the ELEMENTARY SCHOOL she teaches at. I was still playng candyland in elementary school and was not thinking about having sex of any kind with anyone.

Anoother soror I shared the article with indicated that her husband who teaches here in the city, caught two kids having sex on the bathroom floor in the last couple of weeks.

Unreal.
