He will always be known to me as Marcus Aurelius of Gladiator.

My ex-gf tried to make me watch Harry Potter once and I got about 10 minutes into the movie and got bored so we went and did other stuff.

It sucks cuz the time I tried to make her watch Lord of the Rings, she said it was boring too.

P.S. Gandalf the Grey is the greatest wizard EVER.

Richard Harris was actually considered one of the best actors on the planet. Check out the site to read more about him. http://us.imdb.com/Bio?Harris,+Richard

To make a long story short, there's no news on the horizon that Ian McKellan will be cast as Dumbledore. It is believed that the man who acted as Harris's double when he fell ill during the filming of Chamber of Secrets will be taking over the role. Sorry, too lazy to go looking for his name.

I find it interesting that filming of Prisoner of Azkaban is slated to begin in January, but they have not yet cast two major roles (Sirius Black and Remus Lupin...Viggo Mortenson and Ewan MacGregor are two fan favorites for the roles).

Rest in peace, Richard. Or party your butt off, whichever you prefer.
McArthur Park. Great song. Great actor.

The only actor I can think of off the top of my head is Ian McKellan, but he's currently busy playing Gandolf in the LOTR trilogy!
*sigh* He's just not jolly enough. Wonderful as Gandolf, but as Dumbledore? I'm not convinced.....

The 3 kids were on Oprah Thanksgiving day. They said they were going to do the 3rd movie but then that would be it for them. They said that it takes almost a year for the movie to be completed and they don't want to be doing them forever. They want to move on.I can most certainly understand their point of view but they will be difficult to replace. Those 3 kids were perfect for those parts.

too lazy to go around typing all those rumors but for anyone who wants more information on the Harry Potter movies, cast, etc, try visiting The Leaky Cauldron. Their information is always reliable.
