Our cat was born in an old Cadillac aka "the beater" at the Lambda Chi Alpha house. The day after my husband brought her home to me her mother and brother were decapitated by a raccoon.

LOL@James. I was joking. It seemed funny at 2AM. BTW I don't have a bean bag chair.
I have been told that I am attractive, Cream adds modestly.

You might want to try scooping every day (I know that I need to with our two cats) and make sure you do a complete litter change at least once a month, if not every couple of weeks. Be sure to wash out the box with very hot water and a pure soap (not a detergent like dish soap or commercial cleaner like Pine-Sol).

Just a suggestion...
Yes, I am one of those crazy ladies with cats. My senior year in high school my family adopted a pregnant street cat. I have 2 of the kittens that were born in that spring. They think they're dogs, but that is a whole other discussion....
If you haven't thought about it before, Litter Maids are the best things since sliced bread. I don't think I could handle having 2 cats if I didn't have it. It automatically scoops and you only have to empty out the container about once a week. It's worth every penny, in my opinion.

My dog thinks she's a cat. But yeah, a whole other story alltogether.

....and that is why Pyscho the Kitty (yes, that's her real name) lives under the Lincoln in the garage. No bed/beanbag peeing "accidents".

I agree with Pnguin, as I have two cats, we were having small problems with the male cat not using the litter box upon occasion, and no he wasn't spraying, he was just being extra particular. It turns out he didn't like the lid on the litter box. So we took off the lid, and lo and behold, we haven't had 1 problem since. I also clean the boxes daily, it's just part of the routine. Do you like to go to the bathroom in nasty bathrooms that smell and all? Probably not... Just goes to show you that it's not only humans that can be picky.
