Ahh LEslie Anne, don't take stuff too much to heart, you are far from the only prim gal on GC, look at the drinking in letters thread in Greek Life, there are ladies there that think if you have a drink in letters you are bad example of your Greek Organization's principles, even though no one's principles mention drinking.
A standard example of people trying to foist their social agendas on the unexpecting and undeserving LOL.
I will note something, and allow me to qualify this by saying it doesn't directly pertain to you, Leslie Anne, because I don't know your situation,
but most people misunderstand the lesson of emotional pain.
Most people view emotional pain, or regret as lessons that say they shouldn't engage in such behavior. That is a great way to limit a life.
The fact is that a person needs to embrace pain and understand that its a normal part of life, especially emotional pain.
It saddens me when people misunderstand that pain is a part of life and so either deny themselves a form of expresion or stay in lukewarm relationships because they fear to be hurt. Its a lessening of the person.

James....yep, you could definitely say I'm one of the more "prim" people on GC. That doesn't mean I've always been that way. You don't know me so I'm sure it never would occur to you that my present disposition came from experience and regret. When I sense that other young women might be making the same mistakes I can't help but try to persuade them not to.
