Hi All,
I'm from Iota Gamma too, and I'll be attending Convention this year. I'm so exited, I wasn't even supposed to go, but out of nowhere I decided to go. I can't wait to meet all of you, and learn a lot of great stuff.

I'm going on July 24 through US Airways, and stopping in North Caroline. It would be awsome if I were to meet up with other sisters along the way.

CONVENTION HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEA...I'm going to Convention this year...just got my info the other day...I'm alum from the Gamma Gamma chapter...but I'm currently the Recruitment Advisor for the Gamma Kappa Chapter at Towson University...

My real blood sis....is now the archon at Gamma Gamma...so I'm pretty psyched that we will be there together...and then of course my PIC will be there (We'll have fun Meghan) I can't wait!

Although anyone else a lil confused after reading all that jazz they sent us...haha i think someone else is gonna have to dress me cuz i have no clue what's going on?!!!! Hahah and I prolly should.

Can't wait to meet all you girls! How are we gonna do that???? hmmmm dunno....talk to ya all soon!

Hello All! It has been awhile since I've been on greekchat. I was really excited to see everyone talking about Convention. I just got my stuff in the mail yesterday and I'm really excited. I wish I was staying some extra time, but work calls

. Anyway, I wanted to tell phisigbrookie that if she still hasn't found a place to stay for her extra days she should give Josette a ring. My phi sig sis and I went up to DC for spring break and totally hung out with Josette, we even had a cookout at her house. She is the coolest....so she would probably let you crash at her place for real

. She is a blast.

Also, I don't know if anyone checked out the constitution changes stuff, but I was wondering what you all thought about the frat ed test being changed from a test to the activity? I've heard lots of mixed emotions and I was just wondering what other chapters thought about it.

Well I will see you all at convention..it isn't to far away. Hopefully I will fly out with some of you from the Detroit airport :-).

okay now that we've gotten our packets in the mail and it seems more real that we're going to DC how are we all going to know each other. I'm flying in from the west coast so its hard for me to pack a sign or anything to hang somewhere saying Greek Chatters over here. Anyone got a suggestion as to what we should do so we can finally place a person to their greek chat i.d.

Well Ladies,
I'm almost packed to head back east early for Convention. I'm visiting my brother in Newport News/Hayes, Virginia until Tuesday then he's driving me down to the hotel.
Any sisters in the area want to meet up and help me play tourist can you pm me. I will be able to check email and stuff until Tuesday morning.
If all else fails we need to figure out a way to meet up at Convention and also spread the word about Greek Chat to the rest of the chapters. Lets make Phi Sig one of the most active and largest forums here. Keep an eye out for me I'm from Iota Gamma Chapter in Division 30, Region 5.

I know many of you are prolly on your way to convention. but I had a question. My friend saud that she was to bring old cell phones, toiletries and a donation....now she seems to think this is a chapter thing...but I know in the past it was just an individual donation. anyways we were just wondering since she feels so bad that she can't find any old phones and she doesnt have much extra toiletry stuff...although i'm sure she could just donate stuff from her own hotel room.

BTW she got a call from Josette George on Sunday! she was calling to ask if my friend would sing our anthem, but there is no way in hell she would get up in front of everyone. I did it 2 yrs ago and it was so embarrasing since I couldn't stay in key. I thought it was cool that she got a call though.

well convention starts in 2 days...and i havent even started packing!!!! aaaaahhhhh...but i'm still really excited to meet everyone. not sure how we are gonna do that. maybe we can set up a meeting spot at sometime when we are free? like the lobby? can't wait to see y'all!

Hey there,

Hope y'all are havin fun. I called my friend at your hotel last night. she had just gotten back from plenary. my friend's the one that did NOT go up to sing the Canadian anthem (if they had talked to her beforehand they would've known she would not - she's not too keen on humiliating herself in front of ppl)

anyway, she's happy that she's made friends already, and I hope all of you are too.
