I was wondering if there are any sisters on here that live in or near Washington DC. I was thinking of staying a couple of extra days after convention to do some sight seeing. Would anyone be willing to house me and possibly two other sisters from California?

Ok, who is going to Convention this summer??? I will be representing Iota Gamma. About 5 other sisters are coming along with me. We're going out early, so that we can be the typical "tourist" and go sight-seeing around the East Coast! Does anyone know of any great spots we should hit while over there???

Well,when the info first came in I thought I'd go...but that was just dreamin, no way I can afford that!
My sister is going, alone too since the advisor can't go this year. She'll prolly be flying out of detroit Metro. She's really excited to go! I hope she learns a lot since I'm moving away next year and she is the only real returning sister...all the other members are new this year!
She's not looking forward to wearing white :p

I am from the theta sigma chapter at UMASS Dartmouth and I was told that I need to pick an airport to fly out of so I was wondering if anyone else is going and would be flying out of Boston, Worcester, or Providence? Because I would much rather fly with other Phi Sig's! I thought I was going to take the train but I just got an email from national telling me otherwise . . .:)

I donno about the rest of you, but I know that I'm hella excited! I know its still months away, but I heard from my sister who went last year, that it was so much fun... And meeting the other sisters is such a blast! OMG, I can't wait!!!

I will be there. I'm flying out of San Francisco. I'm staying 3 extra nights, but I have no idea where I'll be staying or who with. I'm just being an adventurer. :) Who knows, maybe Josette will house me. ;)

Can you believe that there are 20 chapters still not totally registered!!!

Anyway, I just thought I'd start a conversation

What do you hope to gain from going to convention? what are you looking for in the experience?

I never knew what to expect when I went but I learned so much...and I got to meet ppl...yes I even talked to Josette (ok she only asked me to sing my anthem - worst experience since I can't sing)

Looking forward to wearing white? (remember no bright blue thongs underneath that dress....yes I've seen that :eek: )

Yea, I *wanted* to go... and I was all about paying cos I had a BLAST at LTS (nothing can compare to Div 15 and 16 inviting Josette to our slumber party and she coming... and then wearing GG's Division Conf shirt- saying it was her fav! Yea!) I have great memories from LTS, especially more bonding with our past Archon and NM Class member Sarah!

Has anyone received anymore info or their tickets? my friend was just wondering, I told her to wait a couple more weeks.

i think i might be going to convention!!! yeah!!! our chapter (gamma pi) originally only registered our archon to go but we are signing me up too now (i am the mrc) and i just cannot wait...we need to have a greekchat "reunion"

I am really looking forward not only to meeting other sisters but also to learning alot! counting down the days... :)

HI There,
We should plan on meeting up. There are 3 sisters from Iota Gamma going to convention this year. We are all arriving on Wednesday since we're from the West Coast. So what should we do so we know we're GCrs. Can someone make a sign and bring it with them, it would be too hard for me to take it on the plane.

Hey there! I am the archon of the Iota Alpha Chapter and I will be at Convention too! I was at LTS last year and had a blast so I am SO excited to be going to Convention this year. I am brininging one of our younger sisters who has great leadership potential. I am so excited!!!
