All the UC schools (except Berkeley) are the on the quarter system and start usually the last week of September. Beyond that, I'm not sure why.

Last day to register for UCLA recruitment:
http://npcbruins.com/fall-registration-link
As of last night (9/23) there were 953 registered, with about 36 hours left to sign up.
This is a school were many sign up at the last minute, so there's still time to beat USC's total registered of 1043.
(Yes, crosstown rivalry even in recruitment #s!)

I believe, in 2012, the # was right at 900 who registered for Recruitment.
Been going up every year (with the exception of 1 year) since I came to LA in 2005.
Pretty hopeful that UCLA will break the century mark.
AGD will recolonize next month. AXiD returning in 2016 (which I hope is not set in stone). If the trend with increasing #s continues, the sororities will be busting out of the seams and they will need/want AXiD to come back sooner.
Lots of excitement on campus. Several chapters had Mock Recruitment Sunday to rehearse and Bruin Bash (huge campus party w/rapper Tyga) also Sunday, so tons of meet & greet opportunities then!

The schools are setup to allow students to take classes year round. In the summer there is another full 10 week Summer Quarter, just like Fall, Winter and Spring. At this time the Summer Quarter does not offer as many courses as F,W or S but it is the plan to eventually do so.
