I would call the Greek Life office and ask them some questions. Also, sometimes the PNM's will be dressed predominantly in black. It would be nice to know if that is a tradition at this school.

So my question is, could you give me some suggestions for what would be appropriate (an example from Dillards would be awesome) Thank you!

Of the options I've seen, these are my favorites.
J. Crew has some lovely simple spring/summer-colored dresses on sale right now:
I like this one and this one quite a bit.

COBaby: You just made my night!! I was curious what people might be suggesting, but it turns out I have to go to a wedding in July, and that J. Crew Sophia dress is just what I was looking for (conservative but feminine, and a GREAT bargain).
I'm glad I happened to sign on tonight!

word of caution, if you decide on matisse blue, its more of a teal color in person, i go a dress similar to the sophia dress (except cotton and with a silk sash) for a wedding in april. gorgeous dress, just not the color i was expecting.

txAOII 15: Thanks for the head's up. (again, glad I happened to log on and check this!) I was ready to order the matisse blue, but I think I will go with the "spiced wine" instead (which is sort of fitting, since the wedding is up in Napa).
Thanks again!
