i apologize, i just noticed this thread may not have been for non-greeks to respond. Just to clarify, i am not a member of any BGLO.

I think it is kind of hard for prospects to understand things like colors and "why are they so mean" issues unless you have been enlightened by others. I am fortunate to attend a school where we all just KNOW the 'do's/dont's", but i most definitely was clueless when i first got here. And even if i did do research and read a book or something, it might not have been that easy to swallow.

Before my MIP, I was very, very, VERY uneducated on Greek Life. I didn't know the first thing when it came to "proper etiquette" and boy oh boy did I have some embarrasing moments. I attended a greek forum and an informational and was highly enlightened! lol

At this forum, did they talk about the proper way to express interest? If so, how was it described?

Though there are some good insight/suggestions and what not, I'm hesitant on where this "conversation" could lead. Thanks for everyones input
