I'm guessing this one goes 6 or 7, and gotta go with my boys, the Yanks winning.

What concerns me is, even though the Yanks have the home field, lefty hitters like Ortiz and Nixon could use the short right field at the stadium for their advantage.

I'd start Pettite whenever possible in this series - despite Nixon's great at bat against Rincon in game 4, he's awful against lefties, and I'd rather take my chances with Kapler than Nixon.

Going to be a hell of a series though. Wouldn't want the year to end any other way than a Yanks/Sox series.

Collin

word - pettitte decimates the sox, and he's been very solid in the postseason in his career.

clemens in fenway, however, didn't work so well the last time.

If the sox can steal a split in the casa de ruth, they'll have a shot to pull it out. If they go home down 0-2, it'll be like 99 again. Also if they have to punt by pitching burkett twice, i might mail it in for them.

I think a Red Sox/Cubs series would bring in huge ratings. Just to see which one would break the curse.

Cubs Lose 9-8 in 11 innings. ONE HELL OF A CRAZY BALLGAME! Seven Homers.

Florida leads the National League Championship Series 1-0. Best of 7 series.

Sox/Yankees Game one and Chicago/Florida Game Two tomorrow night.

I don't think I could take another Clemens performance like the last time (although Valentin won't be there to use him like he's a batting practice pitcher this time).

This series scares me - but hopefully Burkett finds his way out there a couple of times.
