I think I get it

I live near the school and it's a predominantly black school so I believe that she is making a reference to black females (like myself) and not 'sisters in general'.

Not that there aren't black females out there who are non-stereotypical and not members of this group (because I am not a member and I would DEFINITELY not define myself as stereotypical and I do believe there are stereotypes of black females for every different perspective and that they are not all necessarily negative just for the record), just that she's trying to bring some type of classification of distinction to her sorority.

Let's not jump to conclusions without first analysing the situation because that only leads to hurt feelings on both sides.

She is only trying to do something good and it was taken (and possilbly stated) in a way that some interpreted to be offensive. We are here to unite the Greek community, not divide it, so let's show some support & understanding. (PLEASE NOBODY ATTACK ME FOR TRYING TO BE NICE!!!)
