Played it once in college while in the dorms... never really got into fantasy role-playing games. Went through all the trouble of creating a character, and played it through only one game which lasted all night. I was dead tired and finally had to go get some sack time, so I let one of the other players handle my character... needless to say who promptly proceeded to give it a quick death.
Just be careful and don't let the fantasy rule your life. I've heard more than a few stories of D&D players gone off the deep end.
