I'm a Days fan too!
I try to watch everyday. I'm not liking Mimi or Jan either...but I'm totally into Shawn and Belle....they were meant for each other!
As for the Jack/Jen thing....basically I think it's just cause Jack hasn't grown up at all. When the two of them left Salem, they were following a dream of Jack's. I guess Jen got bored of it over in Africa and left him. She went to Ireland (where she met up with Bo), they came back to Salem and then Jack followed and is now trying to get back into Jen and Abby's life....but he hasn't changed his ways! He's still trying to "chase his dreams" which is exactly what Jen hates now...she's grown up and he hasn't!
