Definitely be discreet. Don't advertise to your current employer that you're looking. You may want to (or have to) ask a coworker or two for a reference... be careful when choosing whom to approach, and approach them privately.

If you post your resume online, you can list your current employer as "confidential" and/or block specific companies from searching your resume, depending on the website.

As others have said, keep your job search activities out of your workplace and outside your work hours.

Otherwise, you may show up to work one day only to find T-Bone from Security ready to escort you from the building.
