Before I moved in to college the first time, my mom and I made a list of ever possible over the counter medication I could need and put it in a big file box. Every year, I check it and restock as needed. You would not believe how much sudafed or tylenol costs on campus. Some suggestions of what to put in your box:
*allergy/sinus medications (sudafed, benadryl, nyquil)
*painkillers (tylenol, advil)
*first aid supplies (bandaids, rubbing alcohol, peroxide)
*feminine supplies(keeps them nice and hidden away from everyone to see
)
Other things:
*extension cords and power strips. There are never enough outlets, and they're never where you need them
*duct tape - to keep your extension cords out of the way
*Lysol - the rooms are pretty nasty when you first get in there!
*School supplies - they're waaay expensive at the bookstore, and usually the wal-marts and office depots near campus are cleaned out.
*Camera - to take pics of college life!
