When I was little I used to love the Snuggle Fabric Softener commercials and absolutely adored the bear! My parents always did my laundry for me so when I came to college I was clueless. First trip to Target I found liquid Snuggle and was like, "Oh! they must make detergent now," so I bought it. A year and a half later I went shopping with my mother before coming back to Miami and remembered I needed more detergent..... I picked it up and my mom told me that I've been using fabric softener instead of detergent the whole time. Oops!!

When I was little, I didn't know that another name for rabbit is "hare". When I heard the story of "The Tortoise and the Hare", I thought is was "The Tortoise and the Hair". And in my mind, it was a race between a turtle and that red-haired monster from Looney Toons.

I never noticed that I was saying STEVE Madden instead of John Madden. It was just coming out. My husband and I have been together for four years and he just pointed that out a few months ago!

I have been saying it for years... Guess I had great shoes on the brain.

Until I was in junior high, I thought Chicago was pronounced "Chick-a-go". I knew there was a placed named "Shigago", but didn't realize the two were one and the same.

This is dumb-and sort of gross- but about 3 years ago-at age 23-I found out that after guys pee, the don't wipe-they shake. I never knew that!! All my guy friends laughed at me when I found this out-but I guess that I thought since we girls wipe, doesn't everyone??

I thought of something else that I never knew and this makes me sound like the dumbest person in the world.

I just found out about 2 weeks ago that Alaska is connected to Canada and is not an island. I've seen an Alaska license plate only once but I was so confused how it got here overseas. My ex-boyfriend had to tell me it was connected to Canada on the northwest side. I felt so dumb.

I'm just plain D U M B

Up till 2 years ago.....

I didn't know that Carrot Cake actually had carrots in it.

I just thought it was named that because of the icing on top that was shaped like carrots...

I'm not a fan of Carrot Cake, so maybe that could be my excuse?

One of the newest members of the alumni association thought that a 'black tie event' meant you were supposed to wear a suit and a black tie to the event.

Whataburger actually exisits? I raed about it once in a book, and thought it was a made up name.
