My bro's bday is Feb. 1st. He would like to get a frameable family tree that the names can be filled in, either by him or a professional.

Any ideas?
For starters, how many generations does he want to include? There are so many styles, some which go back four basic generations, others go eight generations, and some are more into the page by page style. I'm guessing that he would prefer the tree, the pedigree, or the fan style.

This would be the actual picture of a tree, with the generations on it. You can get those (usually) at most craft or scrapbooking stores.

You want to make sure that the paper used is acid-free, same with the pen that's used. There are literally thousands of genealogical sites which sell or let you print out family trees. I would suggest that you go online & look at them first, then order what you think he's like. Don't forget that the bigger it is, the more it will cost for him (or you!) to get framed!

There is one site that I can't find right now; I don't dare bookmark it, because I want it all!!! I'll add it, once I find it.

Good luck!
