Generally, our badge is only worn by initiated members - but w/ our connection w/ XO and the fact that it was willed to you from your grandfather, it's an amazing heirloom to have, and also very meaningful and powerful i'm sure. we don't 'pin' (aka 'drop') w/ the actual badge at our chapter, but i suppose something similar to that scenario could be seen for you to wear it - but i guess from my standpoint normally only brothers wear the badge. i guess that doesn't help much - but it's a pretty phat story about how you ended up with it in the first place . . .
