I've had this discussion with my family in years past:
Cute: A girl can be cute, but not pretty. She may grow into "pretty", but most likely not.
Pretty: A girl who is pretty, will always be pretty. Those who start out, maybe not so good-looking, can develop into pretty women.
Gorgeous: I don't know of anyone who is gorgeous. No way.
Hot: Probably someone who looks good at first, but won't stay that way.
