AmeriCorps provides $ 4700 a year to pay back your loans (or pay for more school, if you want). I don't know how many years you can do it. Also, I believe the peace corps grants money for student loans (and may also pay your interest, while you serve).
However, unless you are really interested in these fields. I really don't think it is such a great idea to just take a job to help with your student loans.
Have you considered the various forms of financing available? Remember right now if you consolidate your loans you can lock in a super low interest rate (like as little as 3%). If you can get a low rate, it literally doesn't make sense to pay the loans back early (like if you can get a 5% or higher return on your money). Also, now with consolidation you can get up to 30 years to pay the money back (instead of the traditional 10) which really lowers your monthly payment. You can even set it up so that you pay a lower amount now and pay more per month later (when you are presumably going to be making more money). Sorry, I don't want to seem like "loan-girl" or anything, but it really helps if you know about your loans. A lot of times creative financing can help you keep your dream job and your sanity.
