When I was Director of Production Services at the former TCI National Digital Television Center, President Clinton did a major policy speech
from our building when the G-8 was in Denver.
It was actually pretty funny to watch, because besides me, the top management team had probably worked/televised a couple hundred presidential events -- but the younger people who worked the studios and master controls just absolutely freaked out because they had to park in different lots and couldn't use certain hallways in the building.
One guy actually asked me what to do if he wanted to walk down a hallway and a Secret Service Agent told him not to. Unbelievable. Those guys have guns and a very limited sense of humor.
