I applaud Ohio for apparantely making every effort to get this done right.

I did not have that feeling four years ago from Florida.

No matter what the final outcome, neither candidate can claim a mandate from the voters. I fervently hope that we never have to go through a campaign as vicious as this one again. I met two broadcasters from the Ukraine a couple of weeks ago, and was really ashamed at what they were seeing and hearing leading up to this election.

I was very impressed last night when, after Pete Coors' concession speech, Senator Elect Ken Salazar shouted down a supporter who must have yelled something (which wasn't picked up by the mic) derogatory about Mr. Coors.

In the final weeks of a tough, name calling, campaign, both organizations seemed to take a more conciliatory approach to the election.

Unfortunately, neither "national" campaign working in "support" of the candidates did and the name calling was disgusting.
